Hi, I'm Jack Zeligson — a developer, game designer, and composer with a love for building thoughtful, creative projects.
From 2020 to 2022, I worked as a full-stack software engineer at S-Docs, where I developed a strong foundation in JavaScript. As S-Docs was a SaaS company, I worked closely with clients to implement dozens of custom features and fix hundreds of bugs to fit their specific use cases. I also spearheaded the development of an entirely new user experience for their e-signature product, aiming to increase accessibility and ease of use.
Since then, I've expanded my skill set to include React, TypeScript, and Next.js, which I've used to build a variety of personal projects — you can check some of them out in my portfolio.
For the past two years, I've been the Lead Game Designer and Composer at Tavern Rat Studios, an independent video game studio I co-founded. We've made several smaller projects as part of game jam competitions, but our debut title Mischief is our crowning achievement. I designed a plethora of boss battles, minigames, gameplay mechanics and interactable objects to breathe life and creativity into the game. I also developed multiple interactable objects and gameplay mechanics using C#, as well as composed all music heard in the game. I also built our company website using React, where you can find all of our game projects and company information.
Whether it's front-end development, game systems, or dynamic soundtracks — I'm all about creating experiences that feel good to use and leave an impression.
